On August 4 at approximately 2:30 a.m., the headquarters of Chilean company LAN Airlines located in the downtown Buenos Aires area (on the corner of Cerrito Avenue and Paraguay Street), was the subject of an incendiary bomb attack. The incendiary bomb was noted as a small, handmade device possibly containing a chemical residue.
